A celebration of locally grown and produced food will be held in Chatham next week. 
The Buy Local! Buy Fresh! campaign officially kicks off at on Monday at the Civic Centre.
Organizer Mary Anne Udvari says normally they do the kick-off and market for Local Food Week, but the wet spring forced a change.
“We actually create the map and website every two years so this is our 6th edition,” Udvari explains. “This year we’re very excited because we have 47 sites listed on the map. 47 businesses that have decided to take part in the Buy Local! Buy Fresh! map and website.”
There’s still vendor space available for Monday’s farm market at the Civic Centre. Anyone hoping to participate is asked to contact Udvari at 519-350-2172.
