A group of local philanthropists is helping women in need in our community.
The 100+ Women Who Care have handed over the proceeds from their most recent meeting, selecting the Chatham-Kent Women’s Centre as their charity of choice.
A cheque for $12,500 has been presented, earmarked for the Women’s Centre’s Trafficked Women Support Program.
Since its inception in 2016, the 100+ Women Who Care Chatham-Kent have donated a total of $275,050 across 24 charitable organizations.
