A Tilbury man has been arrested after allegedly damaging a residential lawn with an ATV over the summer.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Tilbury residence on July 5 at around 1:30 a.m. for a traffic complaint after an ATV drove over a lawn, causing ruts in the grass.
The ATV was later located in Tilbury, and following an investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of the driver.
This past Wednesday afternoon, officers located and arrested the 36-year-old accused on Canal Street in Tilbury. The Tilbury man is now charged with dangerous operation, operating while prohibited, driving while under suspension, and driving on a highway without insurance. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
