Theft charges have been laid following a shoplifting attempt at Walmart in Wallaceburg.
Police responded to the McNaughton Avenue store just before 9 o’clock Monday night and say the accused was under two court orders prohibiting her from leaving her house between 8pm and 8am.
The 26-year-old Chatham-Kent woman is facing charges of theft, possession of stolen property, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
She was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
