Chatham-Kent’s municipally-run long term care home may be dealing with another case of COVID-19.
Officials at the Chatham facility say they’ve been informed by public health an employee ma have the virus – that person is now undergoing more testing to confirm.
A section of the 5th floor – 5 East – has been put into outbreak status as a result, with no general visitors allowed and only one approved caregiver allowed to visit with full PPE.
Administration is encouraging all staff, residents, and caregivers to get immunized against COVID-19 to help prevent any further spread of the virus.
