A Chatham man is facing several charges following a complaint to police Tuesday evening.

Officers located the suspect vehicle on Park Avenue West around 6:30 last night and believed the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.

The accused was taken to police headquarters for tests. A search also tuned up suspected crack cocaine.

The 40-year-old is now charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, refusal to comply with a breath demand, and possession of a controlled substance.

He’ll face the charges in court May 19th.
