Chatham-Kent Police have been able to scratch a name off their wanted list following a shoplifting incident in Chatham.

Officers were called to a Wellington Street West business around quarter after 11 Wednesday morning. Authorities say the suspect, who was found a short distance away, was bound by conditions from a previous probation order along with grounds to arrest from another investigation.

The 26-year-old has been charged with criminal harassment, theft, possession of stolen property, and breaching his probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
