A 25 year old Chatham man is facing several charges following an arrest early Sunday morning.
CK police responded to a call on Grand Avenue about a suspicious man. They found a man carrying an air compressor they say was stolen from a nearby business.
The man was taken into custody and transported to headquarters. While being booked police say he spat on an officer.
The accused has been charged with break enter and theft, possession of stolen property over $5000, and assaulting a peace officer. He was held pending a bail hearing.
