Charges have been laid in connection with bank cards. 
Police launched an investigation earlier this week after two debit cards were stolen from a vehicle in Merlin.
Authorities say both cards were used in Tilbury, and surveillance footage helped officers track down a suspect.
The accused then led police on a foot chase through two apartment buildings and covering several city blocks before the man was taken into custody.
The 57-year-old is facing a slew of charges, including theft, five counts of using a stolen credit card, and drug possession.
