A 28-year-old man is in trouble after lying to a police officer.
Chatham-Kent Police say around 2:30 this morning, they received a call about a suspicious person on Wellington Street East in Chatham.
Officers found the man wearing all dark clothing, with a hood and scarf covering his face.
According to police, the man attempted to portray himself as a woman by giving officers a female name and speaking in a high pitched voice.
When asked to remove the scarf, officers recognized the man and discovered he was breaking his curfew.
The Chatham man is charged with obstructing police and failing to comply.
