Parents of students at a Chatham elementary school are being warned about a frightening situation.
Late last week, officials at Queen Elizabeth II Public School sent home a note after a student was approached by a man driving a van on St George Street.
Chatham-Kent Police Constable Renee Cowell says that while no one was hurt, it’s a good reminder for parent to talk to their kids about stranger danger.
Cowell says officers checked the area after Friday’s incident, but the suspect vehicle was never found.
