Suspicious Vehicle Leads To Arrest of New Brunswick Pair In Ridgetown

Reports of a suspicious vehicle in Ridgetown has led to the arrest of a New Brunswick pair.
Police responded to the reports of the vehicle just before 8 AM on Tuesday morning. Officers located a man and a woman in the area of the vehicle on Victoria Road.
Police soon learned the licence plate on the vehicle was stolen and the female occupant was currently bound by conditions not to leave the province of New Brunswick.
A 23-year-old New Brunswick man is charged with theft under $5,000. He was released with a future court date.
A 28-year-old New Brunswick woman was arrested and found to be in possession of crystal meth. She is charged with failure to comply with release conditions and drug possession. The accused has been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
