A call about a suspicious vehicle landed a Merlin man with charges.

Police were called to Seventh Line West in Raleigh Township just after 11:30 last night, with the vehicle in question parked in the lot outside a business that had been targeted by thieves in recent months.

Believing the man behind the wheel had been drinking, officers arrested him and brought him back to headquarters for tests.

The 60-year-old is now charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He has been released with conditions and a date in court December 19th.
