Police are reminding drivers to be aware of their surroundings following a fiery collision on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
The Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews responded to the collision in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 near Hetherington Road at around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Authorities said an SUV collided with a deer, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
Firefighters responded to the scene to extinguish the blaze, and no injuries were reported.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were briefly closed following the collision.
