Sydenham River Remains Higher Than Average

Sydenham River, June 19, 2019.

Water levels remain extremely high around St Clair River and Lake St Clair.

According to the St Clair Region Conservation Authority, the Sydenham remains about 20-30 cm higher than average for this time of year.

Officials are warning that already saturated soil could lead to ponding, increased runoff into area waterways, and the potential for increased erosion and seepage issues.
