Organizers are taking a bit of a breather on the heels of the Brigden Fair.
Julie Maw says with a 54,836 people coming through the gates over the long weekend, it’s the biggest crowd they’ve had over the last few years.
Decade would be close the last few years, with our flood zone last year, and weather complications over the last few years, I’d say it be closer to the last few years than it has a decade.”
Maw says the event wouldn’t be possible without the hundreds of volunteers.
Maw and her team are already planning ahead to next year’s fair, following the theme “Hats Off to the Brigden Fair.”
