Labour disputes with the province’s teachers are set to heat up this week.

The union representing Ontario’s public elementary teachers say boards in Toronto, York, and Ottawa will be affected by a full withdrawal of services today. The strike action continues through the week targeting different boards, although so far there’s no impact on schools in the Lambton Kent District School Board.

Public high school teachers will continue rotating one-day strikes tomorrow as well, although the Lambton Kent board will not be affected.

English Catholic schools across the province will be impacted by a one-day strike by members of the OECTA on Tuesday, including elementary and high schools under the St Clair Catholic District School Board.

And French Catholic teachers are in the midst of a work-to-rule campaign, mainly targeting administrative duties.
