A Chatham teen is in hot water after kicking a police officer in the leg.
The girl was asked to leave a home yesterday afternoon after a family dispute, but became belligerent, hurling insults and gestures at the officers.
As she was being placed under arrest, the 16-year-old struggled with police and later damaged a cell door at police headquarters.
Charges against the teen include assaulting a peace officer and mischief.
