An update to a story we told you about earlier today following a lunchtime lockdown at Ursuline College in Chatham.
Around noon yesterday, police were called about a group of unwanted youth who refused to leave school property, however, the suspects left before officers arrived. The school was briefly put under ‘hold and secure’ orders, during which the building’s external doors are locked and monitored by staff to prevent any uninvited guests from coming in.
Shortly after 2 o’clock, police returned to the Pines when a teen from another Chatham high school was allegedly refusing to cooperate with school officials.
The 15-year-old was found a short distance away told by police he would be charged if he returned to the school.
