Assault charges have been laid following a fight in a Chatham parking lot.
Chatham-Kent Police were called to a retail area on Lacroix Street near Richmond Street shortly after 11 o’clock Wednesday night.
Authorities say two teenage girls allegedly attacked an acquaintance, punching the other girl during an altercation.
The two accused, aged 16 and 18, have both been charged with assault and are scheduled to be back in court next month.
