Over $160,000 has been raised to support kids with special needs in the community.
145 people attended the third annual Gala for the Kids at the Chatham Armoury Saturday night. The exclusive event included live music, a three-course dinner, and both silent and live auctions.
In all, $160,325 was raised to support specialized equipment, therapeutic recreation, music therapy, pool programs and other critical services at the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent that are not covered by government funding.
