A man is facing charges after taking a vehicle on an extended test drive.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, a 47-year-old man took the car from a Chatham dealership Tuesday morning.
It took a couple hours, but employees got suspicious and called police.
Apparently the man drove to Duart to speak to a family member.
To make matters worse, police say he was under orders not to speak with that person.
Police caught up with him after he ran out of gas.
He’ll be back in court next month. The car is back on the lot.
