Testing Begins At Land Border Crossings

Beginning today any Canadians or permanent residents who are not considered essential workers will be tested for COVID-19 at land border crossings, including Sarnia’s Bluewater Bridge the two Windsor border crossings.

This will mainly effect snowbirds returning from their winter vacations to the South.

Travelers will be given the swab test, and a kit to do it again themselves on day 10 of their 14 day quarantine period.

There are several exemptions from the test including essential workers, cross border students, and people who have tested positive 14-90 days before travel.
