The 8km/h limit on the Thames River will be discussed tonight at St. Clair College Thames Campus.
Chatham-Kent OPP, Chatham-Kent Police along with Transport Canada and MNRF officials will be on hand to address issues concerning speed limits and proper operation of vessels on the river.
C-K OPP Officer Janine Belangier says the section of river between Lighthouse Cove and Chatham will be the focus.
“It’s an easy and open discussion for residents living along the river, (taking place) in lecture hall 136.” says Belangier.
The information session runs from 7-9pm.
