Construction will be ramping up in Thamesville in the next few weeks as work continues on the Victoria Road Bridge.
Municipal officials say there will be more construction vehicles coming and going from the work site next to the existing bridge as the pave the road leading to the new structure.
Lane reductions will begin June 24th and remain in place for five weeks, affecting both north and southbound traffic. Larger vehicles will be re-routed over Kent Bridge or Little John Road for the duration.
The old bridge is slated to be demolished this fall.
