A Ridgetown woman has died following a crash on the eastern edge of Thamesville
Chatham-Kent Police responded to Longwoods Road between Wallace Street and Pitt Road shortly after 10:30 Thursday morning. Authorities say the collision involved two vehicles, each with one occupant.
A 29-year-old Thamesville man was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with minor injuries. A 29-year-old woman from Ridgetown was rushed to Four Counties Hospital in Newbury, but later succumbed to her injuries.
The Traffic Management Unit has taken over the investigation and is looking to speak with any witnesses.
