Chatham-Kent Police are trying to track down a thief who held up the Mac’s Convenience store in Thamesville. 
Authorities say a masked suspect passed a note to the clerk shortly before 4 o’clock Wednesday morning, demanding cash.
The suspect is a male, 5’10, slim build, approximately 180 – 190 pounds and his nose was blacked out with what appeared to be some type of paint. He was wearing black wrap-around sunglasses, gloves, a red hoodie and a black vest.
Police say no weapon was seen, and the employee wasn’t physically hurt.
The thief fled in a black pick-up with mud covering the license plate.
