The Christmas spirit was not on display last night at a Chatham residence when police answered a disturbance call.
They say 2 brothers were arguing when it turned violent.
One brother suffered minor injuries when he was assaulted with a broom, a door frame and a computer chair.
A 29 year old Chatham man will appear in court in the new year charged with assault and 3 counts of assault with a weapon.
