After putting the wraps on its 2023-24 season, Theatre Kent is hitting the ground running in preparation for next fall.
The community theatre group will be staging the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar at the Chatham Capitol Theatre in November.
Directed by Jamie Johnston and featuring musical direction by Tom Overton, this will be the first large-scale musical production locally since before the pandemic.
The company is looking for men and women, 14 and older, for principal and ensemble roles, as well as a limited number of ensemble roles for children aged 8-13.
Auditions will be held Sunday June 2nd, Monday June 3rd and Wednesday June 5th at St Andrew’s Church in Chatham.
