A gas station temper tantrum has landed a woman with a slew of charges.

According to Chatham-Kent Police, things turned ugly yesterday afternoon when the woman tried to buy cigarettes from a gas station on Richmond Street in Chatham, but couldn’t provide any photo ID.

The 27-year old allegedly yelled at the clerk and punched the plexi-glass barrier, then cracked open two containers of chocolate milk from the store’s cooler section and drank them.

Officers arrived and the woman was arrested. She’s facing charges of theft, possession of stolen property, and assault.
