Charges have been laid in connection to a months old theft investigation.
A Chatham-Kent Police officer pulled over a vehicle on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg just after 9 Monday night and say the driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant dating back to February.
The 45-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
He was released with a date in court next month.
