Motorists are looking at a year of bridge work in downtown Chatham.
Crews will be shutting down the busy Third Street bridge on Monday, April 26th for a rehabilitation project that is expected to continue until spring 2022.
Detours will be posted, directing traffic to the Lacroix and Fifth Street bridges.
Municipal officials say all efforts will be made to reduce the impact on area businesses and residents, as well as boaters on the Thames.
