Final numbers are still being tallied, but organizers are thrilled with Saturday’s Charity Curling Classic in Wallaceburg.

The annual fundraiser, hosted by the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation, brought in over $16,000, up from $11,500 last year.
16 teams took part in Saturday’s sold-out event at the Sydenham Community Curling Club.
Proceeds will go to purchase a new Automated Chest Compression device for the Wallaceburg ER.
