Charges have been laid following a disturbance in Chatham over the weekend. 
Officers were called to a Colborne Street property late Sunday afternoon, where authorities say a man threatened another man while wielding a wooden board.
The accused fled on foot but was taken into custody following a brief foot chase.
The 25-year-old is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats, and breach of probation.
