A Walpole Island man is facing charges after allegedly threatening to set fire to a home in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said the man was allegedly causing a disturbance by knocking on a Bridge Street home Tuesday morning shortly before 6:30 a.m.
When confronted by the neighbours, the man is accused of threatening to burn their house down.
Police were called and officers arrested the 33-year-old suspect who was located nearby on Wallace Street. He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
