Police have made an arrest after a Tilbury woman was allegedly threatened over the phone by her former partner.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service officers were called to a Middle Line address in Tilbury North Township on Wednesday at around 8:15 p.m., after the woman received the threatening phone call.
Authorities alleged that the woman’s former partner made comments that indicated he had the intention of causing her physical harm.
A 24-year-old man was located and arrested by the Ontario Provincial Police at his home in Cottam. He is now charged with one count of uttering threats and was held pending a bail hearing.
