A Wheatley man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to decapitate his partner.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Tilbury address on Saturday at around 8 a.m. regarding a dispute.
Officers arrived at the scene and learned that the accused had allegedly threatened to chop off a woman’s head.
As a result, the 37-year-old Wheatley man was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats. He was taken to police headquarters and later released with an August court date.
