Allegedly threatening to damage property has led to charges for a local man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a north Chatham residence just after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, after a man threatened to destroy a woman’s vehicle.
Following an investigation, officers arrested a 53-year-old Chatham man.
The accused has been charged with uttering threats and will answer the charge in court later this month.
