Three separate collisions led to three charges after accidents in Chatham-Kent on Monday. Luckily, no one was injured in any of the crashes. Police say two of the accidents involved drivers running stop signs.
Police responded to a two vehicle collision on Raleigh Street near Harvey Street in Chatham on Monday afternoon. The driver at fault was charged with failing to stop for a stop sign.
A 29-year-old Chatham woman was also charged with disobeying a stop sign after a two-vehicle crash on Forest Street near Elizabeth Street in Chatham. Total damage was estimated at $20,000.
And a 25-year-old Mersea Township man was charged with careless driving after a two-vehicle collision on Talbot Trail near Dealtown. The crash occured between Four Rod Road and Bloomfield Road, Total damages were pegged at $1,000.
