Three people are recovering following a multi-vehicle crash on the 401. 
Essex OPP say three vehicles, including a transport, pickup, and small passenger vehicle, collided shortly after 4:30 yesterday afternoon on the westbound 401 near Highway 77.
The drivers of the two trucks were treated for minor injuries, while the woman behind the wheel of the car was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes were closed or several hours to clear the wreckage.
