Chatham-Kent’s hospital has recruited three new physicians to provide care to those living in the municipality.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance said the organization has hired Dr. Garrett Mosey, Dr. Diondra Miller and Dr. Areej Alvi, who will all be joining the Hospitalist program.

Dr. Mosey has a Biomedical Science degree with Honours with Distinction from the University of Guelph, along with his Doctor of Medicine from Schulich School of Medicine at Western University. He has been practicing as a Hospitalist at Woodstock General Hospital for the past six years.

Dr. Miller earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, and received her Doctor of Medicine with first-class honours at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Alvi has a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Toronto and earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. She completed her Family Medicine Residency training at the University of Ottawa, and her Hospitalist Fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. She has been practicing as a Hospitalist for Trillium Mississauga Hospital for the past two years.
