It was a busy day for Chatham-Kent Police with a handful of collisions around the municipality.

In Tilbury, officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Queen Street North yesterday morning. One of the drivers has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act.

Then in Chatham, two cars collided on Richmond Street just after 4:30. A Highgate woman is facing charges in that case, accused of making an unsafe turn.

And just before 5:30, emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on Sandys Street, where a Tilbury woman was charged with careless driving.

Luckily, none of the collisions resulted in any serious injuries.
