Thamesville’s 44th annual Threshing Festival continues today.

The event kicked off with the parade and midway last night, and organizer Christy Metcalf says there’s lots going on today as well.

“ We have the Lambton-Kent Mini Pullers, there’s the Silver Stars Precision Horse Club, there is a roast chicken dinner from 4-6, and the Junior Farmer Olympics will draw a big crowd.

We will end the weekend with fireworks at 10:15 pm and that’s always a really nice display”

Metcalf says the event wouldn’t be possible without the volunteer organizing committee that helps out year after year.
