Habitat for Humanity has received a boost as it works on a new home for a Wallaceburg family.
The Re:find Charity Thrift Shoppe recently donated $1200 towards the Bethel Road project, which broke ground less than a month ago.
Habitat families aren’t required to make a down-payment on their home, there’s no interest paid on the mortgage, and it’s geared to income.
This is the 7th Habitat build in Chatham-Kent, and second in Wallaceburg.
