Damage is estimated at $350,000 following a house fire in Tilbury.

Fire fighters from Tilbury and Merlin responded to a home on Tecumseh Line near Poppe Road shortly before 6 o’clock Monday morning and arrived to find the building fully engulfed in flames.

Crews from Station 15 Raleigh North and Station 20 Wheatley were also dispatched for water support.

There were no human injuries, however fire officials say one pet perished in the blaze.

The investigation continues into what sparked the fire.
