All morning, the 240 participants will be swimming, biking, and running all over Wallaceburg.

Organizer Nancy Schinkelshoek says the community is invited to come out and watch.

“Everybody that’s doing this can always use a spectator cheering them on, it gives you a little bit of extra energy,” Schinkelshoek says. “A lot of people are pushing themselves to do something they’ve never done before while they’re participating in the Tinman.”

The event runs until about 1:30 this afternoon.

BIKE ROUTE: Starting at W.D.S.S. at the Selkirk Street entrance and proceeding north to Running Creek Road, east to University Avenue, north to Nelson Street, north to Langstaff Line, west to Forhan Street, north to Lambton Line and returning on along the same route to W.D.S.S at the Selkirk Street entrance.
