A hometown hockey hero is helping to battle multiple sclerosis.
Toronto Maple Leaf defenceman and Dresden native TJ Brodie and his wife Amber, who lives with MS, are leading A&W’s Burgers to Beat MS. $2 from every Teen Burger sold today will go to support Canadians living with the disease.
MS affects the central nervous system, disrupting the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and the body.
Over the past 15 years, Burgers to Beat MS has raised nearly $20-million, with funds supporting research as well as services to Canadians living with MS and their families.
Donations can be made by buying a Teen Burger at A&W restaurants across Canada, rounding up your bill, adding a donation to your order, or donating online. CLICK HERE to learn more.
