The incident that led to Chatham-Kent’s and Calgary Flames d-man TJ Brodie collapsing during practice on Thursday is linked to fainting, according to the club’s doctor.
Flames doctor Ian Auld told reporters the episode seems to be related to fainting rather than a more serious brain issue.
“All the tests have come back negative,” said Flames GM Brad Treliving. “(TJ)’s doing well. We’re not going to leave any stone unturned.”
Treliving adds that TJ is physically sore but doing well. Brodie doesn’t remember the incident.
There is no current timetable for his return.
