Chatham-Kent fire crews spent most of the night battling a tobacco barn fire outside of Blenheim.
Crews from Erieau and Blenheim were called to the scene just after 10pm on New Scotland Line.
Winds, rain and the large fire made it difficult to contain. Eventually the blaze spread to a second barn.
Back up had to be called in from three other stations to douse the flames, which continued well into daylight.
