Toronto Is Open, But Windsor..Not So Much

Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced this afternoon Toronto and Peel region will be allowed to enter stage 2 of reopening on Wednesday.

But not Windsor-Essex as the region continues to trace an outbreak of COVID-19 to a local farming operation and migrant workers.

It’s expected they will remain in phase 1 for at least one more week.

Ontario reported 161 new cases today with 32 of them in Windsor Essex.
